Tour Preferred Hat

London Casual Street Fashion?
Fashion Emergency!
I’m going to London for a month and I need some fashion help.
I’m a casual laid back person who prefers jeans (blue, gray, or black) and tennis shoes… but I will need some nicer clothes for theater and stuff.
1) Whats the best casual fashion for London? Skinny jeans? what type of tennis shoes? Coats? Hats? Shirts? Belts? Jewelry?
2)Whats the best style for outings like the theater, parliament tour, fancy dinners, etc?
3)Whats the typical summer (june and july) London weather? Do i need shorts? coat? rain coat or umbrella?
4) I hear it rains a lot in London… Are the rain boots that are popular in the U.S. (the plastic/rubber bright colored ones) in style over there? i have a pair of high (mid calf) black ones with small pictures of yellow umbrellas on them.. would that be in or out of style over there?
THANKS GUYS
Hi i can pretty much guarantee that the fashions in the US are very similar to the UK at the moment. If in doubt check out the Topshop website as its the looks that you’ll find on most females.
We’re apparently set for a hot summer and casual summery dresses seem to be popping up in a lot of shop windows as opposed to shorts. Again look at the selection on the Topshop link at the bottom.
It doesn’t rain as much as you think but i would advise that you still pack your wellies for the days it does. Don’t worry you won’t look silly.
On the whole it sounds like your current preferred wardrobe will be fine for days when you are walking around doing touristy things. Remember to wear something comfortable if you will be walking around a lot.
Oh and if its sunny you’ll probably want a pair of sunglasses. We do get sunshine here sometimes in London, lol.
