Tour Issue Taylormade

How can you tell is a Golf Shaft is tour issued?
I see all these Aldila Voodoo shafts for sale that are “tour issued”. They look like the same aftermarket ones you buy in stores, but costs so much more. How can you tell if they are really fromthe tour van? And is it true that these “tour issue” clubs have to come with their maker logos on them (for example: I see a tour issued Voodoo XVS7 with taylormade TP logos all over it, how do I know it is tou issued and not just a R9 pull?). Thanks!
Tour issued shafts are not different in any way from the shafts you buy from the same company. The only difference would be in the trimming for individual player styles and preferences. Be wary however of “premium” shafts that bear OEM (original equipment manufacturer) logos like TaylorMade etc… if a shaft has an OEM logo or says “exclusively for…titleist, tm, etc” it is usually not the real thing.
Tour issued clubheads can be different however. They may have special lofts, lie angles, and weighting personally requested by the tour player. 80% of the time its the same stuff you can buy though.
“Tour issue” anything obviously means it was issued to a tour player. Most companies forbid the resell of these products and most make it to market because the player gave it to someone and they gave it to someone etc… who dicided to make a buck. Just buy the shaft you want from the company that makes it and you’ll be golden.
