Tips to buy new irons?
I'll take a set of TaylorMade R7 TP irons. I wonder about the selection tree. I 6 feet tall, What is the difference in size between standard and one for men? What should I look? In addition, I am not sure to go with extra rigidity or stiffness. I'm strong enough with the speed of a good swing. What would you suggest for me? I can play every week with friends often shooting low 80s, if you believe that information should play in the selection. Regards JD
If you are totally in the R7 TP, I must ask if it is false. If so, then, is that the rifle that are 5.5 or 6.0 high stiffness, or the dynamics of Gold S200. These seem to be the two best trees for this set of irons. For graphite, which have recommend, you can go with the X Rifle Project 5.5. Also, I'm 6'2 "and play with standard club length, but I did a little mounting bracket. I strongly recommended not to have extended their clubs because you lose accuracy. If you really feel you have to extend, then have it custom fitted. If you get your clubs custom fitted and the tree correct for these irons, you should be able to get in 70 fairly quickly.
