Red Battery Cable

How I can remove the positive battery cable on my car if there is a red cap on it?
He is a 2002 Nissan Altima with a red cap in the "positive" in the post of battery. I jumped on the negative issues without the use of a ratchet wrench, but the red cap has a connector type of search different. I see a nut that looks like it could work for takeoff, but I can not quite latch on the corner just to get there. This limit has connections go all over the place (the fuse box, etc.). Am I missing something simple, like a lock or press the button to remove it somewhere for me? Please read my stupid question, I said "I can remove the CAP itself, no problem, but under the cover is a connector that is a different type of connector negative.
The only stupid question, if the intention is sincere, not required. I gave the stars Nice attitude. It appears that your terminal is also a distribution point. Just find the size that fits you best. Given that he knew that taking the first negative, I hope you understand. Good luck and thanks for asking.
