Ping G15 Hybrid with a better selling price of $ 139.99 review
The new Ping G15 Hybrid offers great distance, forgiveness and incredible versatility in new packaging.
PING has been a major innovator of the industry time. No one can dispute the importance of the innovations that have been created to help all players. Same in the early PING Karsten Solheim in history as the first to use the weight of the heel-toe putters custom created. 50 years later, this tradition of vision and continues to progress, as the program G15 as new evidence that has come.
At this point, my experience with PING clubs had been limited to their drivers and putters. Although never pulled the trigger on it, the Rapture V2 driver is (in my opinion) one of the best pilots he had ever touched. The G-10 has not been far behind, which is why I was very pleased to have the opportunity to review the recent hybrid PING G-Series.
PING G-Series is a great choice for anyone who is new to the game or those seeking an all-around solid club with a good degree of forgiveness. Typically, hybrids in a big way with this demographic, but there are always players who want to play long irons hybrid counterparts. The G15 hybrid can be the perfect blend of iron and hybrids that change the minds of some players.
Design
The hybrid compact Head of G15 17-4 stainless steel is much shorter (from front to back) than most fairway wood inspired the other hybrids. Instead, think of this hybrid more like a driving iron, similar to the hybrids popularized by Adams. The purpose of this design is to make the player put in place to strike this hybrid in the same way they would with a normal iron.
Perimeter weighting is provided by an inner block big toe to give forgiveness and assistance in locating the center of gravity low and near the face for a high launch and low spin. In fact, they called their PING G15 and forgive and hybrids to date, thanks to the peak area mentioned above.
Performance
To be completely honest, I was not comfortable with the replacement long iron to the top. Fortunately, first impressions do not match Sustainable notice, and the club here is the proof. In the speech, which seems like a lot of difference – if allow me the pun – that really disturbs me a bit. The irons I've played a very minimal amount of offset, and goes from one extreme to the other took a bit to be used.
The other problem I had was the butt of rubber, which was a bit too small. However, it is a minor issue, really hardly worth mentioning. After to exchange the handle for a New Decade Multi-compound medium-sized businesses, my experience has been much better. I'm not sure if it was a mental thing or not, but in my mind, reinforces the importance of a role in the comfort of the hand to play in the golf swing. As a side note, the red and black New Decade Multi-compound has been a great match for this club.
It was immediately apparent after my first trip to the driving range that this hybrid is a real beast. It does not appear anywhere on the contact face stick is done, threw the ball is long and straight. In this spirit, the feeling is not very different in one shot perfectly realized that success is near the tip (which can be either a blessing and a curse, depending on whom you ask.) This may be inconvenient for some, but I do not think anyone can complain of Results of this club offers.
The launch of the ball on the deck is very easy. I think this is partly due to the shape of the head that I was less likely to go to the ball like a fairway wood, and more likely to swing as expected, like an iron. This is something I've struggled in the past and is part of the reason why he returned to a 3-iron instead of a hybrid. This hybrid makes me think about that choice. The sole plate glides over the ground and have never had a problem with him when he gets stuck I tried to push the ball on a steeper angle. Every shot that landed softly and rolled a little.
Conclusion
Thurs improvement is certainly the name of the game with the hybrid G15. The club is ridiculously easy to hit, and would be a great addition to any handicap medium bag superior. top players can not, as the amount of compensation, but will certainly help those who fight a slice. Nobody can deny the level of consistency of this club can make in your game, even if you have any problems making contact in the same location on the club face. While the G15 is not the club more realistic, you can trust the fact that you quit any lie without problems. Total M. experience with the club was great, because it is very long and forgiving. Certainly recommend it to anyone looking for large hybrids.
