How about handing Northern Ireland over to Notre Dame University. They are “The Fighting Irish”?
How about handing Northern Ireland over to the Irish? Britain will never do that, because there is too much money to be made there. So I got an idea, how about handing it over to Notre Dame University and let them make money, and put it to better use, like funding education.
Three things:
-I was under the impression that Britain was all about popular sovereignity, that is to say, they will cede Northern Ireland to the Republic when a majority of the citizens no longer wish to be a part of the UK
-Northern Ireland isn’t a source of income for England, last I heard it’s a ₤3bn annual drain on the British GDP
-it’s UND, not NDU
