How to make the most of a triple dorm room?
I ended up being assigned to a triple room at Drake University. It is approximately 17 by 14. I am wondering about your experiences with triple rooms- good or bad- and how we can arrange the room to make it least crowded. I’ve seen the room and it seems like there is a lot of wasted space in the center of the room, because everything fits best on the edges of it. How should we set everything up? Thanks so much in advance!!
oh yeah, we can loft our beds ( i think we all will choose to do that), but we can’t have a bunk bed.
You’re probably going to want the wasted space in the middle to stay empty. You’re thinking of it as if one person is living there, but when three girls are getting ready at once they will be standing in that empty space. Sometimes someone is going to need the space to spread out a project. Other times you’ll have a bunch of people over and you’ll need that space so they can sit down. Plus any non-romantic overnight guests will be sleeping in that space.
