Mizuno Golf Set
Will a golf store typically let you swap out a PW for a 2-Iron?
I’m looking to buy a new set of Mizuno Irons but I don’t need the PW (I like my current one) and would like a 2-Iron instead. The one golf store I have been to said that they would not swap the two. Is this standard or do I just need to go to a different store?
I went to TGW.com, and struck out on all the Mizuno irons except the MP-62’s. If you click on the “customize” tab near the bottom, it’ll come up and show that you can select any combination from 2 iron to PW. I’ve bought quite a few clubs/products from there, including my hybrid, and I’ve never had a problem. Their customer service is awesome.
The 2-iron is going the way of the T-Rex. Most people hit hybrids, or just don’t carry a 2 iron anymore. You’ll definitely have trouble locating one.
