Remove grub without xp cd?
First, I'm a PC with Windows and technology. I am not a good knowledge of Linux, but I wanted to try. I made the mistake of setting up your home only (no dual boot, error noob know …..) Here is the funniest man. Now Linux can not be removed without need to be caught in "Rescue Grub. Being technology (again, a PC with Windows /.), I used to know how to resolve these things. I tried to dd and all the other garbage and nothing more. I know that its deletion gets rid of half of the GRUB boot code (buffer register), leaving the other half stuck trying to beat a dead horse. "The point is, I'm not original XP disc. I even tried with another MS-DOS OS (FreedDOS 1.0) to replace grub install it, but I can not use the button "M", replacing "input." None of the buttons seem to work when I'm trying to install FreeDOS. I need a Linux guru a newbie with Linux. Help ???????????????????????????????? Thanks little brother
I do not know what you have installed Linux – this is not a single entity, such as Windows, could be one of the hundreds of "distributions" as they are known as to what is only beginning, it was silly if physically separated from the entrance of Windows.
