Which of these is better and why?
I am looking for a lob wedge. Which of these are better and why. Which would you buy?

It kind of depends on what you’re looking for. The Callaway is more of a “shotmaker’s” club, with the way the sole is ground, and it’s soft, forged feel. The CG14 is more for the everyday player… it is cast, so it’ll feel a little bit harder, and the plastic piece in the cavity will dampen vibration from shots not hit on the sweet spot.
Grooves shouldn’t be an issue- Callaway has the “Mack Daddy” grooves, while Cleveland has the “Zip Grooves”. All that means is that they’re both milled to the old “box” standard (as large as allowed). They just call it different things.
Neither of these are “better” than the other, but they are geared to different types of players. Whichever you are might determine which one to go after.
