How do they lengthen golf clubs?

I have a set of golf clubs that I would like to get lengthened about 1″ (I am 6′4″). My set has almost new lamkin perma wrap grips on them and I do not want to have to pay for new grips. Is there any way to get my clubs lengthened without having to buy new grips also. Thanks.
