Iron Set Graphite

Graphite or Steel shafts for irons?
I’m considering purchasing a new set of irons and and was interested in your opinion about the pro’s and con’s of steel shafts. Everyone says graphite is better because it has less vibration on impact and they’re lighter so you can hit the ball harder and thus farther. They seem very “Whippy” and flexible whenever I swing them. Your thoughts?
I have been told by several pro’s at golf shops and a coach I had:
Graphite – longer distance , but less accurate
steel – more accurate but less distance
