Design and Technology
The AP1 and Titleist AP2 were designed by veteran Peter Gilbert, designer of almost all major ICD iron of the past, with advice from Dan Stone, new head of research and development of the golf club. Gilbert began with a new list, apart from 775s and 755s for the welcome and technology that led to its current state. He looked to new materials, new forms and new processes and create a pair of revolutionary shackles – AP plates.
