Hybrid Steel Stiff

What hybrids: Specialized Sirrus, Trek 7.3 FX, or Jamis Coda?
I'm about to buy a bike to replace my 1973 (yes, 1973) Raleigh Grand Prix road bike. Why do a lot of practice in urban areas, I would buy a hybrid. I like both, and the Sirrus FX 7.3, because have a geometry that more closely resembles a road bike, but I can not decide between them. I have not ridden Jamis Coda Sport, but I understand it has a steel structure and people seem to love them. Does anyone have recommendations for one or another way? Can you provide pros and cons of one of these bikes? It also gives me Sirrus Sport FX 7.5 because they have carbon forks, it is assumed that the bike feels less stiff. (I understand that Jamis is less pronounced due to its steel frame.) Any advice whether carbon forks are worth the additional cost (~ $ 200)? Thank you very much!
I have a specialized Serris and I really like. My husband and I have purchased this bike two years ago and almost every day. We changed the handlebars to the fraction because I have carpal tunnel and my husband has back problems. Also clip the pedals. I coulnd't be happier and more with this bike.
