Hand Hybrid Iron
What is the best full set of Golf?

I love golf and need suggestions on clubs to buy. I am looking for a right-handed, full set (driver-woods-hybrids-irons-wedges-putter)

any suggestions?

The real question is “how much do you want to spend?”

Unfortunately, there really is a big difference between a $99 set of no-name cubs from Big 5, and a $2500 set of custom-fitted top-of-the-line clubs from a golf specialty store.

The question is: do you really care? If you golf 2x a year at your church’s charity event and your company’s annual picnic, you probably don’t care and don’t need to spend the money to care.

On the other hand, if you have fallen in love with golf and are eager to get the best set that you can afford, then you should try to find a good set of used clubs and try to have them custom-fitted at a golf specialty store. You can save alot of money going with a used set and no matter how scuffed up they look, they will perform just the same as long as the grooves on the club face are not completely worn.

Most golf specialty stores will allow you to hit various models on their range or computerized indoor facility. Try going over there and hittng several different types. If none of them seem to make a difference, then go with the cheapest. If you fall in love with a set, get them.

Also, I highly recommend used clubs. Clubs are kinda like cars: they devalue as soon as you get out of the store and you can save a tone by letting someone else suffer the depreciation. I buy used clubs all the time and have been very pleased.
