Half Finger Golf

Soft round thing in my live rock?
I just started my tank up for four days and during the displacement of surrounding rock Today I had the rock with my finger in a big hole. Big enough for one finger to fit inside. Really just a hole in the rock, but now is not because more hotels hit something soft in there. It is roughly half the size of a golf ball and when I hit him, things so sweet orange-brown is off. Does the plant material dead? I want to eliminate if possible, because I want to know how big this hole. If it does, then I will transfer the problem with a video.
Video Would be nice if a million things can hitchhike in the rock. It could be a sponge. This could be a hidden sea hare might be something dead in there. It may be only a few worms. A word of warning: Always be careful to stick your finger in the holes. Mantis shrimp Sometimes Tag Along on the rock. Several years ago, while working at a fish store, to own one before, I had a friend who picked up a rock and, of course, be beaten by a mantis shrimp (this was just a baby of an inch too). I had to get three stitches finger. We went through hundreds of pounds a week, then chances were against us, but always a good idea to take some caution in the treatment of the rock and removing the fingers in the holes.
