Driver Shaft Regular
can i buy a tp shaft for a lefthanded r9 driver ?
I want to get the TaylorMade R9 TP driver when I looked into pre-ordering online, there were no lefthanded TP Drivers.
The shaft in the regular version would be too light for me, 65g.
So If I bought the regular version could i buy a TP shaft and put that in., remember i’m lefthanded, will they sell a lefthanded TP shaft (i donno if it madders because of the FCT thing at the end of the shaft) Or could i buy a righthanded shaft.
I hope that makes sense Its hard to explain
From what I have read….both the TP and The regular R9 are 65 gram shafts….The only difference is the TP is slightly stiffer and has a lower torque rating. Both are made for TM by Fujikura. Further There is no such thing as a right or left handed shaft.
This is one that in all honesty I would not pre order, I’d want to actually be able to hit it and see what it actually does and for that matter look it all over well prior to spending big bucks.
