Driver Ping Prolaunch
Ping G10 Driver and shaft type?
I am looking to purchase a Ping G10 driver. What are the differences in the shaft type?
1. Ping TFC129 (standards shaft)
2. Grafalloy ProLaunch
3. Proforce V2
what does torque mean when it comes to drivers?

The torque is the amount of tip action you get through the hitting zone. Lower torque shafts are perferred by faster swinging players because they can “bend the tip” more due to the amount of power generated. A torque of 3.5 or more gives the added “kick” that a slower swing speed will need. The extra flex in the tip give a lot of help to added distance and makes the shaft feel “more alive”. As for the shafts in question, there are many choices offered my these makers and it is difficult to give a comparison as the shafts may “overlap” in specs depending on the specific type you are looking at. The Grafalloy Red, and V2 will probably give you a lower launch angle. The Grafalloy Blue will probably give the highest ball flight of all.
