Why do a lot of parents feel they have to have a son with no feelings?
Okay true story.
I am at a friends birthday party, and we were at the part where we were passing out the goody bags.
One of the mothers when going through her son’s bag, yanked out a doll, and said ” Oh no! My son can’t have this, don’t you have anything for boys”? and she was really offended.
Why are some parents like that.
He’s not allowed to cry.
He has to learn to fight.
He can’t play with dolls
Don’t you think that he’s not allowed to cry, turns into man man who cannot express himself?
Don’t you think he has to learn to fight, becomes he is violent, and quick to anger?
Don’t you think he cannot play with dolls, becomes a man that finds it bothersome to physically care for his kids?
What are we teaching our boys?
what about the mother’s who are training thugs?
At two yrs old, the baby boy is already wearing drooping pants, Tim’s, and a wife beater.

When you are raising a boy (esp; in the absense of his father) you dont want your son to be too soft. a pushover. easily taken advantage of by older boys- who experiment with other boys. it happens. I cant blame her for removing the doll.
My son, is very boyish- yet very soft-hearted. Now, I dont try to take that out of his character- but I dont allow him to whine, or talk in that ‘baby’ voice. I put him in sports (the ones he can do- he’s 4) and I admit, I push him even now, to be strong. (the coach took me to the side- and told me ‘it’s ok, he will get it in time.” I guess I was coming across a little to hard.
His father is at a distance, and at this point- I need him closer to his son. i called him the other day in tears, because I can only do so much as a woman. His father is a very masculine man, and that is how I want my son to be as well. So, I can see that it is best for him, to make sure he spends that time with his dad more often.(he wants to anyway) We(mothers) just dont want them to lack strength. they are men.
I’m just thankful for my brothers influences on him, and his dad being involved (even though he is at a distance)
add: i do allow him to cry though 
. and I kiss him all the time. he’s has a sweet spirit, everybody loves him.
